Superior Foods has evolved throughout the three generations we have been in business. Our roots are heavily grounded in the fresh seafood processing arena, however we have continued to expand and grow our production facility. We continue to lead in the seafood production area, at the same time we continue to develop in our meat and deli production area. We custom cut steaks to order and produce over 100 different products in deli. ALL of this is done in our state of the art facility in Grand Rapids.
Seafood production is the foundation our company was built on. We still cut fish by hand to ensure each fish is inspected and meets our quality standards prior to processing; and then use the latest technology to finish and package. We utilize SQF standards throughout the supply chain and our trademarked Signal Case state-of-the-art packaging to insure quality and freshness.
Our USDA inspected facility produces custom cut products to our customers’ individual specifications. Our meat production products are produced nightly for next day delivery insuring our customers always have exactly what they need.
Though we refer to it as Deli Production, our ready to eat processed products fall into a number of product categories. We produce a wide variety of sauces, marinades, mustards, spreads, flavored salad dressings and seafood stuffings (and ideas we haven’t even thought of yet!) all under strict SQF standards.
